Established in 1991, Companions Haven is a family-run business that offers pet bereavement advice and caring pet cremation services. Their purpose-built crematorium in Pucklechurch (just outside Bristol) is specifically designed for the cremation of domestic pets - and animals can be collected from either a family home or a veterinary surgery.
The business owners, Josephine and Robert Carlyle, are avid pet owners themselves and therefore know from personal experience exactly what many pet owners go through when they suffer a loss. Their aim is to make this process as bearable as possible and to ensure that all stages of the process are carried out with dignity and respect.
Companions Haven is an active member of the Association of Private Pet Cemeteries and Crematoria and is able to provide a selection of ash scatter boxes, urns or caskets. Their purpose built Chapel of Rest is used before any cremation to allow you to say a peaceful goodbye to your pet.
